Most of the houses that I saw were made of mud held up by a wooden scaffolding. You were lucky if you could live in a brick or concrete house.
Copy of Cosmo = Sam Roberts
Location: Bahakot, Nepal
Blurb: This baby goat (who we fondly named Cosmo) was one of many goats that was at the rural village that I stayed at. During this time I worked in the health post, cared for the animals (goat, buffalo and pigs) and taught at the local school. Cosmo and all the other goats would be brought into the lounge room of a night where it was warmer, which made for noisy nights.

Prayer Flags - Brenda Ta

This was one of the highest vantage points on the Ghorepani-Poon Hill Trek (almost 3000m). To our delight after climbing 2000m in 2.5 days, it was mostly downhill from this point forward.
